If you are new to the Internet Business scene and see yourself with so many negatives like; a new entity in the marketplace, you should know two things:
1. Most of large businesses started out small.
2. People love to deal with small businesses that show passion.
I started my business in the corner of my one bedroom apartment in New York City. I have since moved on to a bigger office, but the atmosphere is kept very informal between my staff, my vendors, and my customers. They like it that way, so why should I change?
The power of a new business in all markets became more real to me just recently when we started a Pay-Per-Click network called AdClickMedia.com. You would think that there are many, many PPC networks out there, so what is a small fish doing among the whales in this industry?
If you differentiate yourself from other big businesses out there, your marketplace may not notice the difference. They are going to try your service because of its uniqueness.
The truth is, in any industry, people like to support the underdogs and wish good on them. If you are passionate about what you are doing, ultimately people catch on and they will eventually join in.
Currently, I see so many who are passionate, but many new marketers out there who, out of fear, make themselves out to be experts. They think it’s a bad thing to show their weaknesses. Of all the expert advice, please know this…what you think is a weakness is actually a good thing among your potential customers.
My suggestion to anyone who has recently started out to make money on the Internet, especially affiliate marketers, network marketers, and online business owners is simple:
- Be yourself.
- Keep learning.
- Show passion in what you do.
- Help others who have started before you.
What you think is a negative might be your strongest USP in your market.
