Good article. I also wanted to add that marketing – in addition to promote – also is building your brand and web presence. Dont put all your eggs in one basket, but be present at several “places” at the same time and make sure your customers and future prospects dont forget you. Targeted traffic is after all the lifeblood of the internet.
I agree good article in response to Ricks comment above. It is all about targeted traffic – after all thats how you make money online. Giving a customer what they need. While any traffic is good targeted traffic is where your potential buyers come from. I agree although it is very time consuming outsourcing your marketing was never an option for me. You have to do the legwork to sustain a profitable business.
