Gandhi and Google

by admin on October 2, 2009

Are you curious why Gandhi is morphed on the ‘Google doodle’ today? October 2nd marks the 140th Birthday of this great man with a powerful message that helped change the world for a better place.

(Google’s Doodle: The doodles are overseen by Dennis Hwang, who joined the company in 2000 and has gradually been using the logo to remind people of particular dates or events.)

Because of this doodle (what a great idea) people worldwide are able to remember the good, bad, and the ugly in the world and learn from it.

The Speech of Mahatma Gandhi recorded in Kingsley Hall, London in 1931.

Thanks Bapu and thanks Google!
