As a result of this type of thinking, my first year in business was rather disappointing.

Years ago, Bernard Meltzer’s quote made me think a different way. It made me focus first on developing the mindset and skills required. Money and financial freedom is an outcome — a result that derives from your mindset and skills level.

The skills that you learn can never be taken away by anyone. They are yours to use whenever you please.

So, focus on developing you, and identify the skills that is required to make your dreams come true. You’ll be just fine.
