5 Key questions to answer before advertising.
We get a lot of first time advertisers asking this…
“What is involved in planning my Online Ad Campaign?”
Preparation is key to your ad’s success. Whatever its size, an effective ad is based on the simple principle of analyzing the situation and planning your campaign.
According to Cossette Group, a market research firm, 10% to 90% of advertising investments are tossed down the drain due to poor preparation.
Here are 5 Key strategies to answer before you advertise any product, online or offline:
- What’s your product? Planning your ad campaign starts with knowing your product. What are it’s strength? What are it’s weakness? What do people think about your company? Start by collecting all the information you can on your product.
- What is your target audience? To whom are you speaking? For whom are your ads intended? To succeed in any campaign, you must define your target.
- What’s your Promise? Whether you like it or not, your advertising is always based on the promise of satisfaction. Your ads must respond to a need or to a desire.
- What’s your objective? The next key to a successful ad campaign is to know it’s purpose. You need to set a goal before you can build an effective plan.
- What is you budget? Your leverage is largely a function of your financial resources. A small budget does not mean corresponding results. Testing is the key if you are running ad for a product that’s not been personally tested by you.
