Email Marketing To Set New Record by 2010

It appears email marketing is here to stay. Recent reports from Direct Marketing Association state approximately 71,000 jobs were created in 2006 alone and growing 8-10% annually!

Online retailers realize this and plan their campaigns to coincide with the holiday season. Most online retailers anticipate the corresponding drop in sales during the off season and mark inventory down to keep it moving. Email marketers take advantage of seasonal fluctuations and they can predict shifts in demand for many goods and services and structure their spending accordingly.

Of course, reputation, delivery, open, and click-through rate is evaluated on acceptance in the marketplace. Acceptance is related not only to the total number of customers in an audience, but also to the composition of that audience as compared to the target audience of the advertiser.

Shocking Changes At Blogrush!

 Hello,

Just over a week ago Blogrush Launched. Blogrush is a free Blog Syndication service (in beta at the moment) that’s got a solid  ideal behind it — but now struggling to get it right.

We are currently testing this tool to see if the service brings us targeted visitors to our blog. So far we’ve not been able to view the stats area of Blogrush.

Wait an minute… just got a message from John Reese, founder of Blogrush - here it is.

Business World List’s Affiliate Contest - $10,000

 Hi,

This may seem like a lot of money for a simple affiliate contest, but it’s true.

BusinessWorldList.com is currently running a contest for it’s affiliates that’s quiet unusual for a “Safelist” — hey, but it’s BusinessWorldList! One of the first few website to apply this concept of safe mailing back in 1999.  Besides, BWL has added many many features that’ll guarantee new visitors to any website, in any market. There are literally thousands of safe lists out there and the interesting this is that this form of advertising is extremely cost-effective — at least for marketers who knows how to target their message to safe-list subscribers. Yes, marketers who know how to convert clicks into leads and then into sales — walk away with a 1000% return on their investment.

Getting back to the contest… The contest is pretty simple. Unlike other affiliate contests, where the person who brings in the most referrals WIN it — BWL has a refreshing twist but simple enough for anyone to walk away with this CASH.

Here is how it works.

  • The contest started on Sept 5th, 2007.
  • You don’t have to be a paid subscriber to participate.
  • You simply refer 3 paid subscribers and you are put in the contest pool.
  • On Dec 5th, at 12:00 noon an automated script will pick the $10,000 winner.

Not bad! $10,000 can be a very NICE present for many of us - ESPECIALLY WHEN CHRISTMAS IS JUST 3 WEEKS AWAY!

If you know 3 marketers who you can refer this service to, then you too will stand a chance to win this thing.

Here is where you can register and participate in this contest.

Have an OUTSTANDING day!

Who’s Hiding Behind That Domain?

I’ve heard rumblings that the Internet’s governing body, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ICANN, will meet in Los Angeles next month to discuss eliminating the Whois service.

The issue, whether proxy services are unregulated due to information that’s readily available to the public, while criminals are keeping their secret hidden.

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission say they use the data from Whois to seek out Internet pirates, scam artists, and Phishing experts. Why take it away?

No matter what questions you ask or how many you ask, skilled swindlers have ready answers. That’s why sales calls or email from persons or organizations that are unknown to you should always be checked out before you actually buy or invest. Legitimate callers have nothing to hide. Phone and email swindlers are likely to know more about you than you know about them.

Use Whois while it’s still available if you plan on looking up someone you’re going to do business with!

Like Our New Blog?

Hi all,

Like our new blog? We used to use Typepad to create our Blogs — until a friend and owner of Boaze.com, Steven Boaze let me in on some Blog secrets that we were not utilizing for our promotions.

Don’t get me wrong, Typepad is a great service which accommodates easy features for people like me. I am still learning and I believe that I am in good hands with Steven and his son / Partner of Boaze.com Chris Boaze.

We here at Multiple Stream Media, LLC interact very closely with a lot of our clients — constantly learning and teaching how to get their website out to the right crowd…etc.

I’ll be writing and posting more often from now on. If you let me, I’ll use this platform to develop and improve a new product idea we’ve been kicking around for a couple of years.

You see we use a lot of outside advertising networks to bring in traffic for our clients. We’ve been dealing with these CPA ad networks for quite some time now — enough time to recognize and improve on the hired traffic concept. It’s time that we create our own advertising network using our connections and affiliates. More on this in my future posts.

Enough for this post. (It’s Sunday!) I’ll take the rest of the day and enjoy it with my family.

So long..
